This series includes photographs of events and activities that took place throughout the Metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia in 1988, 1991 and 1996. These events include a parade celebrating Martin Luther King Day in 1991, a parade celebrating the selection of Atlanta as the site of the 1996 Olympic Games, a parade celebrating the Atlanta Braves baseball team's participation in the 1991 World Series, the outside of the stadium where game 5 of the 1991 World Series took place, and the Democratic National Convention of 1988 at the Hall on International Boulevard. The series also contains photographs of an expressway in Atlanta being built in 1988, and the construction of Highway Georgia 400, the Georgia Dome in 1991.

William Fulmer Hull (1949- ) is a professional photographer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Hull moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1980. In 1983 he was hired as a photographer for the Atlanta Historical Society where he remained employed until 2001. Hull moved back to Chattanooga that same year.
